I just had a woman at Michaels get uppity with me because I was talking about "Christmas already". "Can't people wait until after Halloween for God sakes!???"
Folks, please just know that people who are makers and event planners have to think about holiday MONTHS in advance. There is probably ONE month out of the year (like February/March) That I don't think about Christmas. It's not that I don't love OTHER holidays. or that I even want to think about it all the time. But when you are planning a communal event that can potentially host thousands of people and you want it to grow for the good of the people.... you just have to prepare.

Also, if you are mad about people who talk about Christmas, you might just want to go to counseling or smoke some week or something. There is so much more in the world to be concerned over. People are just trying to find some joy on this fu**ed up planet. Please, just let people be and mind your business. ALSO, the next time you go to a cool market, or big city planned event and you are having a blast and thinking HOW COOL IS THIS? REMEMBER.... it took MONTHS, maybe even a year to make that thing a reality.
