During a joint press conference with neighboring agencies, the Storey County Sheriff's Office announced its participation in an Impaired Riders/Drivers Joining Forces Campaign during the annual Street Vibrations Fall Rally - September 25-28. Thousands of riders are expected to be on northern Nevada roads during the event and the Storey County Sheriff's Office wants to remind motorists to respect the rules of the road.

Riders:
*Wear proper protective gear, helmets are required in Nevada
*Make sure your motorcycle is mechanically capable of being on the road
*Stay visible and don't tailgate
*Stay sober, your life is not worth a drink

Drivers:
*SHARE THE ROAD
*Physically check your blind spots, turn your head and look
*Eliminate distractions, keep your eyes on the road
*Give motorcycles space
*Drive sober
