Relied Cut Mission Log — Project No. 3, Day 1, Part 2:

We finished up Day 1 at Judy’s. We cleaned up her sidewalks and trimmed back her bushes and shrubs so they don’t brush up against her house on windy or stormy days. We trimmed back some tree branches that were touching her roof as well.

Stay tuned for more updates. We will be working to find a tree company that might be willing to assist with removing some additional dead tree branches and we will be coming back to clean up the garden beds.

Check out our YouTube Channel! Day 1 of Judy’s Project up. Watch it to see all that was accomplished. Link will be in our stories.

Come along with us on the journey and check back for updates.

Relief Cut Mission Log — Project No. 3, Day 1, Part 1:

Our third project is for a very sweet lady named Judy.

Judy lives in the home her husband built over 50 years ago. Her husband passed away a few years ago and Judy has struggled to maintain the yard.

Judy loves to garden. She has spent years curating and designing her back yard for to be her special oasis. She broke her leg a few months ago and though she has recovered, she has been unable to care for or enjoy her garden. A lot of her shrubs and bushes have become very overgrown to the point that they are scraping the sides of the house and windows during windy days and storms.

This project will take multiple visits. We will need to trim back the overgrowth, clean up the sidewalks, and refresh her garden area so she can enjoy it once again.

Here are a few pictures from before we got started.

Come along with us on the journey and check back for updates.

Relief Cut Mission Log 8/6/25— Project No. 2, Day 2:

We headed back out to our second project this afternoon to continue working on getting the yard cleaned up.

Today’s focus was on cleaning up the overgrowth in the flower beds and around the house as well as getting the back yard mowed.

In the process of clearing out the overgrowth we found quite a few yard decorations that belonged to the homeowner’s grandmother and were able to give him access back to his sidewalk.

As we are getting Relief Cut started, we are completing these projects in the evenings after work and on weekends so they often take multiple visits to complete.

We will be heading back out on Saturday to get the last bit of the project completed.
