For every ton of new wood that grows, about 1.5 tons of CO2 are removed from the air and 1.07 tons of life-giving oxygen are produced.
For each move booked during March and April, McCombs will make a donation to the National Arbor Day Foundation Re-forestation project to help off set our carbon foot print.

Stick an ad in the newspaper. Put up a notice on Craigslist. Post
simple, effective signs around the neighborhood. It’s best to use big
bold text like “HUGE SALE” with an arrow pointing the right direction.

Welcome to Tip #2 for Fall Yard Sales ...

Get together with a few neighbors and have one HUGE sale. The more stuff the better the sale! And remember, the more stuff you can sell, the less to move later.

Welcome Fall! What a great time to sift through the things acquired over the summer and take a look at stuff we no longer need. Time for a yard sale! The weather is cool and the time is right to de-clutter!
Over the next few weeks, we will send out timely fall yard sale tips. We hope this is helpful. And remember, when it is time to move, move with McCombs!

Moving Tip: Did you know your moving expenses may be tax deductible?
To write off your relocation costs, a move must
be work-related. Then you have to pass time and distance tests (the 50 mile test) But as long as a move meets these requirements, it doesn't matter
if it's your first job, the same job or a new job. Remember to ask your tax adviser for the specifics.

1. Consider whether your donation will be used toward a cause
you support.

2. Visit the nonprofit's website to learn what items are needed and how the donations support the cause.
