This girl. She is something special! Ally has been interning here at our church this summer before she heads back home to South Boston (not that Boston 😉) to finish out her senior year of High School! We decided to shoot some fun senior photos in my studio this week and she was simply stunning. I wish I had her confidence when I was 17. Love you girl!

My dear sweet friend is officially a High School grad today🎓🎓🎓! I can’t believe it. Ruthie- I love you so much that I don’t have words to describe it accurately. You are an incredibly beautiful person, inside and out. You radiate joy and passion, and I thank Jesus that I get to be apart of your life whether near or far. Well done and for raising an amazing young woman. 👏🙏 Ruthie, I can’t wait to see how the Lord continues to use you in this next chapter of your life. 💖

SENIOR SESH ALERT! I had to share a few of my favorite shots of one of my favorite people, Miss Ruthie Eaton! I am so glad we got the opportunity to do this in my short time out in WA last month. I love this girl so much and she and her family have been a huge blessing to my life. I met Ruthie when she was 14, and I had no idea the kind of impact we would have on each others lives. Not only does she have a heart of gold, but she has a heart for God, and her spirit and joy shine brightly in this world. I know she will continue to shine brightly no matter where she goes in her next chapter of life!

Sadie. My firstborn. She is a dedicated cuddler and lover of cozy robes. An avid reader with a taste for magical unicorns and witty female protagonists. She shares a passion with her mother for learning Astronomy and reading the Chronicles of Narnia together. She is half of my heart that lives outside of my body, and my not so little girl will be 8 in six weeks. How has 8 years passed already?

Liberty. My little yet big Liberty. She’s only four but there is so much soul inside of her. We jammed out to ‘Hold me my Lord’ by while I took these. Both of us singing at the top of our lungs- as evidence by the second picture 😂. I love her so much and I love watching her grow up. ❤️

Here be me. A self portrait in natural light. Why? Because my new just arrived and I just couldn’t help myself. Which is saying something- because I don’t like being in front of the camera. I have wanted one of these backdrops for a lonnng time and I’m proud to finally own one. So here I am: No makeup, tired eyes, pajamas, and no cares given. Just happy to create with a beautiful piece of art, and looking forward to having clients sit for me in front of it!💜

Sneak Peek: It's always a treat when I get to work with friends, but it's even cooler when they are from a previous duty station! Eileen, I am SO glad we got to connect again, all the way from WA to VA. Also, we both agreed that we aren't used to these late Autumn colors. In WA, the fall leaves would be long gone by now!

August is World Breastfeeding Month, and yesterday I got to photograph one of my favorite people doing just that! I've known Caitlin since we were stationed together in Italy, and we've recently been reunited since I moved to Virginia Beach last month. I documented part of Caitlin's pumping journey with her twin boys, and I feel honored that I get to capture her nursing her baby girl now– even if it was only for a few moments! **The last photo shows what of a toddler is really like during photoshoots! hehe**

My cousin. When I see this smile- I see the generations of the bloodlines that we share. 💜

I've known Haley since the first year we moved to Kitsap, so it's only fitting that her family would be my last official family session before we head off to Virginia Beach. It was a beautiful day that started with rain, and ended in sunshine– so we took full advantage of that at Point No Point. I will so miss this sweet family!
