Focusing on Living for Jesus, being forever married, parenting multiples, being myself, all while attempting survival!
Stepping back and taking a look into all the changes that have occurred during the last almost 8 years of this blog being in motion. I desperately want to get back at it! It's been sketchy the last few years and I appreciate those of you who are still here, following the page. I cannot wait to get back to the "roots" of this blog and share the benefits that God is still loading up each and every day. Praying that 2023 will be the new year for this blog.
Here's to new beginnings.

The girls have been watching The Icing Artist and they absolutely love her!
Today they wanted to make their own cake. The only thing I got to do (3rd Chef) was actually put it in and take it out of the oven!
It tastes amazing!

What are you currently reading? I just found this on the Apple Books app. So much wisdom, Charles Spurgeon delivers just in the first chapter, “The Necessity of Following Christ”.
👀
“It is always safe to do what Jesus would have done under the same circumstances in which you are placed. Of course, you cannot imitate Him in His miraculous work, and you are not asked to imitate Him in some of those sorrowful respects in which He suffered so that we would not suffer, but the ordinary life of Christ is in every respect an example to us. Never do what you could not suppose Jesus would have done.”

Thursday Thoughts:
Do not compare your Spirituality to what you see in others. I used to do this all the time. I'd spend a few minutes talking with someone at church or at the store, and when walking away I would think, man... they have such a better relationship with the Lord than I do.
In some cases, that statement was true. There are some Christians, who after spending time with, their spirit makes me want to be a better Christian. To try harder, to get closer, to bring God glory! Those are the best Christians to be around. But in truth, that was still "their" relationship.
In other cases, sadly I discovered that it was put on. People adapt to their surroundings very quickly, and are able to tell you the things they "think" you should hear to make themselves appear to be more spiritual. Again, that is "their" relationship with God.
"Our" relationships with God are all going to be different. Based on time spent in the Bible, in prayer, and the situations we go through in life. Remember this, when we say, wow I want to BE that person, what have they been through? What have they had to suffer to bring their relationship to where it is?
There is a reason that it's called a "personal" relationship with God. Each one will be different. We need to strive to have the relationship with God that is for us. I heard it said best this way, "A person, will only have as much of God as they want!" And this is true. If you feel like your relationship with the Lord is lacking, check up.
How much time are you spending with the Lord? Just like earthly relationships, we are closer to those we spend more time with. I am thankful for those Christians who make us want to be better Christians. They are a testimony that a deeper relationship with God is attainable.
