If you aren’t familiar, these waxed bulbs need nothing to bloom, no dirt, no water, nothing. They love to sit in a warm sunny spot, and will shoot up multiple consecutive blooms.

Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend a rainy morning! Coffee from Cool Beans Coffee Brewery in my favorite Cherrico Pottery mug.

Cool Beans is a local small business that roasts their own beans. Let me tell you, AMAZING! Best cup of coffee I’ve had in awhile! Check out their page. You can find their coffee in a few local stores, farmer’s markets, and online available to be shipped.

I’ve also followed Joel Cherrico and his wife for a few years now. They are amazing artists and I am honored to have one of his pieces.

And peep those flowers!! Grown by yours truly. This dahlia variety is called “All That Jazz” and the tubers came from The Happy Hour Flowers. They are a small business based out of Virginia. Be sure to check them out for your flower bulbs and tubers.

4oz Vodka
1.5oz Pear Nectar
1oz Elderflower Liquor
Juice of 1 Lemon
Dash of balsamic vinegar

Dreaming of Peony Season. Coral Sunset is a new fave. She’s similar to Coral Charm but more Coral with thicker stems. No support and no Topple! The best time to plant peonies is Fall. We plant them with daffodils

Did you know you can plant sunflowers until Mid August ‘round here? Choose Day Length Neutral Varieties and Check the “days to Maturity” and look for 50-60 days.
