My daughter had an appointment today with Dr. Rabbani. She drove over an hour to get to her appointment only to find out that it was a telehealth appointment. Our reminder text message of our appointment did not mention that anywhere. In fact it said a telehealth appointment would be available if you had Covid symptoms. You should definitely rethink your communication to your patients. My daughter spent three hours in a car and gas only to have to do her appointment in her car. That’s pretty poor customer service if you ask me.

Mrs. DeVine's Telemedicine Room | Powered by Doxy.me

If you are unable to come into the office to see Mrs. DeVine due to the coronavirus situation, you may opt to have a HIPPAA compliant "telehealth" session instead. BCBS is encouraging telehealth for those who are unable to attend in person due to coronavirus or flu. Your co-pay and responsibility will be the same as an in person clinic visit--please contact the front desk to pay your co-pay.
To begin your telehealth session, ideally, use Google Chrome browser. Utilize the website https://doxy.me/jackiedevinelpc. Once you are logged in, you can type in your name and "check in", which will put you in Mrs. DeVine's "waiting room". Once you have "checked in" to the virtual waiting room and she is ready, she will click on your name and the session will begin via video chat.
We suggest you look at the website ahead of time to test your computer to make sure your device's video camera and microphone are turned on.
