Here's a family photo I've colorized for my Jersey friend, disc jockey & leader of The Dirdy Birdies Jug Band - Jack Pignatello and his daughter. I've been colorizing black & white photos for families, museums, and TV'S 'History Channel' since 2001. 😎 Just a Quick Note: None of my colorized images rely on AI. It's all done "by hand", using my mouse as a paint brush.

Here's a very-detailed colorized vintage image I had a lot of fun creating. This is a Chinese Grocery Store and Lunch Counter in Western Canada. I colorized this as part of the year-long exhibit, "Chop Suey On The Prairies" at the Royal Alberta Museum in Edmonton, AB Canada. The original B&W photo was taken in 1947.
For this colorization, I researched every product's 1947 Canadian packaging for the correct colors. And you thought photo colorizing was just "slap some colors onto a picture and you're done".
Candidly speaking, with AI, that's about ALL you'll get, which is Reason #47 why I don't use AI, lol. 😎

Let's view another of my colorized antique & vintage colorized images to kick off Amazing Colorizing's New Stage . . . and speaking of "stages", here's a a party from Sioux City, Iowa aboard a "Tally-Ho" stage coach at Great Hot Springs in Dakota Territory. You've gotta feel for those poor horses having to haul this large group! The year is 1889. 😎
