I get that I missed the calls and didn’t answer the door—but that doesn’t mean my food should just be left on the ground.

It was sitting on the concrete, bags tipped, drinks sweating, everything exposed. I understand contactless delivery, but there’s still a level of care that should go into it.

If a customer isn’t responding right away, it feels like there should be a little more effort before just leaving it like that.

I ended up reporting it in the app and leaving a low rating. Just expecting a bit more attention to how the order is handled.

how does dropping off one simple order turn into me losing my whole income overnight. Pulled up, did exactly what I’m supposed to do, bag hooked right there by the door like they always ask, clean, neat, receipt facing out like I’m running a five star operation or something. Taco Bell threw all those sauces in loose so yeah I set them down next to the bag because I’m not about to cram everything and mess up the food. That’s called being careful.

Next thing I know I’m getting messages saying the whole order “fell” and the sauces “exploded everywhere” like be serious. I left it perfectly fine, nothing leaking, nothing tipped, and now suddenly it’s a disaster scene? How does that even happen unless somebody grabbed it crazy or knocked it over themselves. But somehow it circles back to me like I stayed there and kicked it over or something.

Then Uber hits me with a straight ban like no warning, no conversation, just done. Whole account gone over some sauces on the ground next to the bag, not even touching the food. Now I’m sitting there staring at my phone thinking how one delivery just wiped out my only income, and they really acting like I committed a crime over some packets.
