Some pieces begin with a scene and end with a story. This one is about that moment when something beautiful captures your attention and everything else fades into the background. A few familiar faces even found their way into the piece—Bruno and Ivy, my Wheaten Terrier’s, were too perfect not to include.

Thunder Ballet and Born of Light explore opposite ends of the same performance—strength and serenity, chaos and grace, storm and illumination.
In Thunder Ballet, lightning tears across a dark sky as the dancer rises into the moment with power and determination. In Born of Light, a single beam shines down on a dancer bathed in warm sunset colors, capturing a quieter kind of beauty—one of hope, reflection, and renewal.
Together, these pieces celebrate the emotional range of dance and the stories that can be told without a single word.
