Last year was a long year for all of us. I had some Health issues that kept me out of the shop, but am better now. I so love working out there and helping to keep your Equipment running, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to, but thanks to God I am working in the shop again. So if you need some repairs give me a shout. Thanks to all my customers for hanging in there and returning.
Gob Bless this Young Man
Hey everyone. Had a little heath problem last month but we are good to go now. Room in the shop right now. Call and schedule a time for your repairs or maintenance. Ready to turn wrenches and sharpen blades
Covid 19 yes it's a dangerous virus. I just want my customers and potential customers to know I am still available to repair and service your mowers & small engines. will take any and all precautions to be safe, I don't want it either. We can schedule time for you to drop off and pickup. You can leave it outside and call me with your requests, or some other way. Just letting you know that I'm still working in the Garage and thanks for your business.
Awe Light at the end of the tunnel. Starting to warm up. Time to think about the Rider & Push Mower. Tune-ups, blades sharpen, and service for the Snow Blower storage. But Don't forget the Chainsaw. Call soon to get your Appointments
Heads Up Tip: Since mother nature is messing with us. If you have had your snowblower carburetor service because of sitting through storage. Start it up every 2-3 weeks to keep the needle valve free. Have no fear it will snow before winter is over, and you will need it to start.
I would like to thank all of my customers for their business in 2019. Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to All.
I hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving. Was really good here nice to see the family and have all that food. If you need Snowblower work or chainsaw repair give me a call. Thanks to my customers for all of the Business this year. Now we head to Christmas.
Thought this was Funny but really kind of true.
Haven't posted for awhile. We've had our first snows and people have found that proper storage may be important. Been busy with the chainsaws, snowblowers, and Log splitters
Have had 2 Small snows already, even though it seems to early, you might want to check that snowblower and see if it's going to run or needs some repair. Maybe the early cold caught you off guard and you need the mower serviced for storage. Give me a call to set up a time.
Shop will be closed Thursday Oct. 3rd thru Monday Oct. 7th. Going to take a few days to visit my brother and family. Will be here and open Tuesday Oct. 8th. Thank you to all the customers this year. Have had returning & a lot of new faces. Time to think about mower storage service & Snowblower prep service. "And Now You Know" Getting tough on Small Engine Problems
Well Fluffy the Rat strikes again. Snapper rider needs some wiring repair but it also took out the little black box control.. Keep those rodents away from your equipment. It can be expensive.
A Break from Mowing. No rain Grass has went to sleep Whops just heard thunder. The Grass will grow again. Little slow in the shop so have time for your other small engines. Getting a snow blower tuned up. Yes I Said Snow

Spring? Day one. Time to think about Service & Storage for the Snow Blower The get the push mower or Lawn Tractor out of Storage and ready for mowing. Call if you need help getting that done. Schedule your Drop-off NOW before the rush.
Did these Drifts break your snowblower?? Just finished fixing 3 have room for more. Give me a call to schedule a repair before the next one hits
Has been a little to cold to keep the shop warm, but maybe we are at the end of this cold snap. Have work to catch up on, but can make room for more if you need it. Stay warm
If your Snowblower isn't working properly it's not going to help you much for the 10 inch snow we are supposed to get in the next 2 days. Better hurry if you want it fixed by then. Tic Tic Tic
Due to a large number of telemarketing & Scam calls, if I don't answer Please leave a voicemail and I will get back to you A.S.A.P. Thank you. On another Note Winter is still here and about to blast us again. If that snowblower is giving you problems I can fix it up for you. Let me know. Just had a 1 year old one in for Fuel (ethanol) problem. Reminder avoid ethanol gas or use a good fuel stabilizer. Even though you use a stabilizer Ethanol goes bad and draws moisture quickly. "And Now You Know"
Husqvarna's Done 460 Rancher & 435 piston cylinder rebuild. Never had to wait so long for parts. Holidays are not the time for ordering parts. Companies closed and USPS running slow. Time for more if you have them
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year From AL's Small Engine Repair
2 Husqvarna saws in the shop. 460 Rancher tuneup & a 435 that needs an new piston and cylinder, because of overheating. If your saw begins to act funny say not idling right or hard to start get it checked out. It don't take long to burn up a piston and cylinder if it starts running lean from drawing air though a seal or boot. Cheaper to replace those than do a top end rebuild.
NOTE: Beware of the Coupon Ads: Noticed one that says. "Snowblower Service $29.5 plus tax" Says includes oil change, tune up, adjustments & full inspection. What you don't know. Tune up is basically change the spark plug since most carburetors have no adjustments, but there is no mention of spark plug replacement. It is a bait to give you the "OH by the way" you need, parts not included in the $29.95 service price. At AL's small engine you will know the total before it is repaired.
Tis the Season. Snowblowers & Chainsaws. If they need repaired I have time right now to take a look at them. I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from AL's Small Engine
