We’re thrilled to announce the winner of the 55th Annual Bluemont Fair poster design contest — Addie Moore of The Springhouse Studio (.springhousestudio)! 🖌️
A Hillsboro local and the artist behind the beloved Purcellville mural at the Family Restaurant, Addie brings heart, history, and vibrant creativity to everything she touches. Her winning design for the 2025 Bluemont Fair beautifully honors this year’s theme: “200th Anniversary of the Snickersville Academy.”
Her design was selected from a the Bluemont Fair Committee and will be featured on this year’s poster, T-shirts, and more!

What does the Snickersville Academy and the Bluemont Fair have to do with each other?
With the Snickersville Academy celebrating it's 200th anniversary, it's the theme of this year’s Bluemont Fair! 🎉
Built in 1825, the Academy was Bluemont’s very first one-room schoolhouse and church. Sitting on the banks of Butcher’s Branch, it now stands as a symbol of our village’s rich past.
🌿 Take a stroll down the walking lane, bridge, and explore the garden that surrounds this treasured log structure.
📍Planning a visit? Don’t miss the historical marker right on Snickersville Turnpike in the heart of Bluemont!

We are thrilled to announce that Amy Oliver of Monkeytown Pottery (Airmont, VA) has been named the Juried Crafts Winner of the 54th Annual Bluemont Fair! 🏆🎨
Amy’s wheel-thrown pottery demonstrations have been a fair favorite for years, captivating visitors with her intricate designs inspired by nature, wildlife, and storytelling. From owls and foxes to dinosaurs and mythical creatures, every piece she creates tells a unique tale.
As this year’s winner, Amy receives:
