Palo Verde is a true example of thoughtful design and collaboration. Inspired by the Palo Verde tree and the surrounding hilly terrain, we created playful and welcoming spaces that harmonize with the natural landscape.

The design features clean architectural lines, bright colors, and natural textures. Even the pool area, despite limited views, has been transformed into a unique destination that invites relaxation and fosters connection.

Behind the Scenes at Austin PBS: A Peek into the Thoughtful Interior Design of the Station's Soulful Spaces The 45,000-square-foot Austin media center showcases innovative hospitality-driven design by Britt Design Group.

Congratulations to Karen Knight and Graham Pierce of Ardor Wood Farm 🐐 for achieving Zero Energy Certification for their off-grid studio and workshop in Red Rock, TX.

This thoughtfully designed space is more than a building—it is a regenerative hub for education, creativity, and meaningful collaboration. From beekeeping and regenerative land management to biophilic design, the curriculum reflects the farm's and its stewards' core values and builds on the Farm's motto: "Disconnect to Reconnect."

In addition to producing all of its own energy, they also incorporated some Living Building Challenge strategies. A cistern collects rainwater for wildlife and garden use, and a novel sink-to-toilet allows sink “waste” water to be used for flushing–both strategies conserve precious potable water in this arid state. The project also used Living Future's Red List to guide its interior materials selection, including the use of many products with a Red List Free Declare label.
