Do you ever step back and notice your life as it moves — the people who enter it, shape it, and quietly leave it? Most don’t. They assume there will always be more time. But there isn’t. And that realization, when taken seriously, changes everything. It sharpens attention. It creates urgency. It restores agency. When you understand that time is not guaranteed, you stop postponing difficult decisions, meaningful conversations, and important work. You move. Not frantically — but deliberately. Because memento mori is not about death. It’s about clarity. And clarity, paired with urgency and agency, becomes one of the most powerful forces for self-accomplishment.

The spades are the swords of the soldier,
and you’ve been beside me in every fight.
The clubs are weapons of war.
And diamonds…
they were never what you were after.

You and I are building something that will stand —
for you and me, and for all those we love.

That’s how I know you understand the shape of my heart.

With you the waters are calm.
There is laughter.
There is peace.

What more could a man ask for?

When we met, it didn’t feel like a beginning.
It felt like a return —
as if somewhere, in another life,
we had simply agreed to find each other again.

Nancy Forlini

A Woman Who Earned the Room — and the Respect 30 Years and $30M Commands
Some conversations only become possible after time has done its work.

Nancy has been part of From the Broker’s Desk from the very beginning. She was one of our first guests, long before the platform found its full voice. She didn’t just participate — she supported, encouraged, and showed up consistently. She spoke at Summit 6288, attended at the highest level, and extended that same generosity to many colleagues across the industry. Not for visibility. For belief.

This is Nancy’s third appearance on FTBD, and it matters to say this clearly: this is not an interview. It’s a conversation. When there’s history, trust, and mutual respect, the dynamic changes. I spoke more in this episode — deliberately. Not to take space, but to meet the level of exchange that comes from sitting across from someone whose authority has been earned, not claimed. Like playing tennis with a pro, you don’t step back — you elevate your game.

Nancy has reached the RE/MAX Paramount of Excellence — a distinction requiring 30 years with RE/MAX and $30 million in cumulative commissions. As of today, she is the only woman in Canada to have achieved this. That fact doesn’t need embellishment. It stands on its own.

We spoke about working with your spouse, about holding respect in communication when it matters most, and about the discipline required to maintain standards over decades. We also touched on personal choices and their ripple effects — including a conversation that inspired me to step away from alcohol completely. One year and one week later, I can say it was one of the best decisions I’ve made.

My appreciation for Nancy — and for Nick, her partner in business and in life — is rooted in friendship, admiration, and deep respect. And perhaps the greatest respect of all is this: I continue to challenge her to put herself out there more, because her voice matters.
This episode airs tomorrow.
And it’s one I’m proud to share.
Some conversations don’t need momentum.
They need history.

Once again, many thanks for all who help us make FTBD come true.

Here is a **short, clean, Instagram-ready version in English**.
Copy-paste as is.

As 2025 comes to a close and 2026 opens, I want to pause and acknowledge.

ERA Mentoring was built this year not on slogans, but on exchanges—conversations that became opportunities to learn and grow, to give and to receive. True mentoring is always reciprocal.

The wisdom of ERA Mentoring is shaped by the sounds and silences of a thousand conversations, the ink of a thousand reflections, the years and tears of lived experience, and one simple truth: our role is always evolving—to learn and to live. That is all we can do.

Mentoring has made this journey richer, deeper, and more human. Whether our paths cross for a session, a conversation, or a lifetime, every encounter is a gift.

There is a time to grow.
A time to sow.
But above all, a time for presence—of mind and of moments.

Wishing you an incredible ERA in 2026.

The year is ending.
And before another cycle of easy resolutions begins, there is a more demanding question worth asking:

Did you simply stay active…
or did you actually grow?

Most people confuse movement with progress. They stay busy, stimulated, occupied—yet remain fundamentally unchanged.

I’ve spent more than two decades building, leading, negotiating, mentoring, and making decisions where outcome mattered. Not in theory—in consequence. What I’ve learned is this: growth isn’t motivational. It’s structural. It requires clarity, discipline, and accountability at a level most people rarely invite.

This is the season to refine.
To redefine.
To re-find yourself—not as an idea, but as a practiced identity.

In the coming weeks, I will take on **only three individuals** for mentorship. Not programs. Not groups. **Three people.**
This is a high-trust, deeply invested relationship. I bring strategy, experience, candor, and full engagement. In return, I work with individuals who think clearly, execute consistently, and elevate the environment around them.

Growth is not about being fixed.
It’s about being sharpened.

Opportunity is everywhere.
Standards are rare.

If you feel the unmistakable pull of knowing you’re capable of more—and are ready to be held to that standard—this may be your moment.

Some doors are offered.
Others are *earned*.

La réussite prend plusieurs formes.
L’une des plus importantes, c’est l’alignement à deux.
Merci Christine,
pour le soutien, l’équilibre et la constance de chaque jour.
Success has many forms.
One of the most important is being aligned with the person beside you.
Thank you, Christine,
for the support, balance, and steadiness you bring each day.

**A real, unfiltered conversation with an exceptional woman.**

**From the Broker’s Desk**

For over a decade, **From the Broker’s Desk** has been a project I’m deeply passionate about. It’s far more than a simple interview series — it’s a space for connection, exchange, and inspiration. Through the years, I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people from all walks of life, sharing their stories, journeys, and truths. These conversations have helped me learn, grow… and hopefully, inspire others in return.

For this new series, I wanted to give myself a **gift** — to push the boundaries of the format, to go deeper, and to explore the human truth behind success.

And what a start...
My guest, **Sara-Christine Troïni**, has become a true powerhouse in her field. Charismatic, authentic, and visionary, she radiates that rare presence shared by great leaders — the kind that inspires, elevates, and leaves a lasting impression. For nearly two hours, we dove deep into **what makes her who she is**, **the challenges she’s faced**, **her values**, and perhaps even **the secret behind her success.**

This isn’t a quick scroll or a sound bite. It’s a **two-hour journey** — a conversation meant to be experienced, not consumed. One that reminds us that authenticity, purpose, and perseverance still matter.

🎥 **Watch the full interview on YouTube — link in bio.**
💬 **Comment, like, and share.**
🔔 **Subscribe for more.**
And above all… **let yourself be inspired.**

A heartfelt thank you to our partners for their trust and support:
**Mount Stephen Hotel**, **SunaFilms Media**, **Mindblow Energy**, **Centre Automobile du Québec**, and **Lemay Consulting** — without whom this project would not be possible.

I quit coffee. Overnight. After 20 years. ☕️

At the time this photo was taken, I was drinking four to five espressos a day.
It was part of my rhythm — mornings, meetings, reflection.
A ritual that felt harmless… until I wondered who was really in control.

So I stopped. No tapering, no replacements. Just a choice.

The first two days were rough — groggy, foggy, even a three-hour nap on day one.
But then something remarkable happened: the body adapted.

Today, I wake up clear.
No caffeine, no crash.
Energy steady. Focus sharp.

I haven’t sworn off coffee — if I’m in Italy on a terrace, I’ll enjoy one gladly —
but I’ve removed a crutch I didn’t realize I was leaning on.

Harvard Health notes that quitting caffeine can improve sleep, reduce anxiety, and balance cortisol.
But beyond the science, it’s about agency — the quiet power of saying no to what owns you.

If there’s a lesson in all this:
We often overestimate what we lose when we let go…
and underestimate what we might regain.

ERA Mentoring
Transformation starts with self-mastery — one quiet decision at a time.

31/10/2025

« Always believe something wonderful is about to happen. »
There’s a quiet strength in that sentence — not naïve optimism, but conviction born from experience.
I’ve seen enough storms, in life and in business, to know that belief isn’t about waiting for luck — it’s about preparing the ground for it. It’s the mindset that rebuilds after loss, that negotiates when others walk away, that mentors not because it’s easy, but because it matters.
Every morning, I remind myself that something extraordinary can unfold from even the simplest of moments — a conversation, a decision, a lesson shared.
That’s what ERA Mentoring stands for.
Not just guidance, but a reminder: you are one decision, one belief, one act of courage away from transformation.

ERA Mentoring
Growth. Vision. Renewal.

FROM THE BROKER’S DESK – A one-of-a-kind show in Quebec ✨
We had the great honour of welcoming Marc Fisher, who presented his brand-new book “Comment les mêmes fabriquent des génies.” Together, we explored not only key elements of his work but also the defining moments of his life and career.
This was followed by a truly insightful discussion with Alison Brimmacomb, a clinical therapist joining us from Victoria, B.C., where we addressed mental health and the crucial role of open communication.
I also had the privilege of highlighting two pillars of Team Sperano, Mike and Louise, and expressing my heartfelt gratitude for their loyalty and dedicated service.
We then wrapped things up with Phil Lemay of Lemay Consulting, who shared his expertise on the future of entrepreneurship: from lead generation to AI integration, from intelligent CRMs to the tailored solutions his firm provides to entrepreneurs.
A special thank you to SUNAFILM Media, MINDBLOW, Centre Automobile du Québec, and Lemay Consulting – without whom this show would not be possible.
And of course, what an honour to film directly from the prestigious Grand Hotel Mount Stephen, one of Montreal’s most elegant venues.
🎙️ Our very first episode will air on October 29th, featuring special guest Sara-Christine Troini.
We believe we are among the only fully bilingual podcasts of this kind in Quebec, and we are proud to build a bridge between French and English communities.
