Last week, CTX proudly attended the RecognizeGood Business in Ethics Awards Luncheon, where our students truly shone. Business student Sebastian Lambright delivered an inspiring speech about his experiences interviewing CEOs and influential leaders. 🌟

💜 We are grateful to benefactors Tom and Reina Wiatt for their support, which allowed our students, teachers, staff, and friends to fill three tables at the event. Special thanks to Dr. Prairie Burgess, Interim VP of Student Development, for accepting a $20,000 donation from RecognizeGood on behalf of CTX, and to Professor Sean Richards for his leadership!

🌟 Celebrating Dr. Donald "Don" Zielke's legacy! 🌟 As a respected math professor and philanthropist, Dr. Zielke dedicated 50 years to nurturing the brightest minds at Concordia Texas. We are proud to dedicate the Zielke Academic Support Center in his honor, a symbol of his commitment to our mission and values. Dr. Zielke's teachings, filled with the message of Jesus' love, continue to inspire generations of learners. 💜🎓

Despite financial hurdles for aspiring nurses, initiatives like our $10,000 Workforce Development Scholarship for our ABSN program are opening doors. 🩺

Dr. Amber Shammas, Senior Director of the CTX College of Health Sciences, shared, “We see a lot of students that maybe are interested but just don't have the financial capability of enrolling in a program. So the hope would be that this will help support their financial ability to start a program."

Thank you CBS Austin for highlighting the impressive research of CTX biology student Antoneitte McConnell and Dr. Mary Kay Johnston on the eclipse's impact on Earth's atmosphere and telecommunications. 🌌📡

Antoneitte leads a collaborative project with NASA to investigate how the eclipse affects the ionosphere. Together with Dr. Johnston, they will use radio telescopes to collect data during the eclipse and share their findings with NASA. 🌟🔭
