Today, James Van Der Beek passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind his wife Kimberly and their six children.

There’s a GoFundMe for his family.

Read that again. A successful actor—someone who brought joy to millions—has a GoFundMe because the medical costs of fighting cancer left his family “out of funds.” They’re struggling to stay in their home. To keep their kids in school. To cover basic living expenses.

According to the GoFundMe: “Throughout his illness, the family faced not only emotional challenges but also significant financial strain… The costs of James’s medical care and the extended fight against cancer have left the family out of funds.”

What a weekend! 🎉

We traveled to Pensacola to celebrate our youngest, Gavin’s birthday, and I was blessed with an unexpected opportunity—attending the GFI Armed Forces Division event!

I had the privilege of introducing one of my good friends from Pensacola to GFI, and honestly, I learned just as much as they did. The benefits our company offers specifically for military members, veterans, and first responders are INCREDIBLE!

I’m talking about specialized financial solutions designed specifically for those who serve and protect our communities. After seeing what’s available, I’m blown away by how comprehensive and valuable these programs are.
