For a long time, creating things was the way I felt with everything hard. Through divorce, dead moms, lost loves, friend break-ups...I was always creating. Taking pictures mostly until I found pottery. When it feels like everything around me is dying, putting my hands on a lump of mud and forming something to use and nourish...healed me. For a long time after that, creating came sparingly as the world demanded I participate in the capitalist hellscape that is America. I found my way to love, life and home but something.. always missing. More death, more disappointment...history repeating over and over and over and over and over......and now, I've found my way back but this time with a touch of resistance. Whether it's making añT! 🧊 Prints, battle jackets, q***r history through reclaimed fashion, anti fascist stickers and patches...or just pottery...I feel a little bit more whole. Keep creating. The world needs a record of today
