Help me out with this thought. I know it’s bad for you to go to bed with wet hair as that moisture can get trapped in your pillow.
Is it still bad if you sleep with a towel over your pillow? 😜 Is it bad for the hair itself??

I think it’s been over 5 years since I’ve picked up my Annie Sloan brush and paint. It felt just like riding a bike. I’ve missed this so much. ❤️

Slowly making progress! The white cabinets are turning out great!
I’d love to know do you have painted cabinets or are they a wood color? Do you love what you currently have or want to change it?
My husband painted our ceiling (I will trim that out to the edges) and I’m almost done with this section. I ordered more paint so I’ll be finishing that within 2-6 days when it comes.)

Hey there! My name is Tamara and I just recently put my items inside of Hello Sunshine Sac Collective.
I have always loved butterflies and the beautiful life they bring. I started talking with a girl on Etsy who has now become a friend. Her and I work together on finding butterflies once they naturally pass.
She goes into her fields where she lives and delicately packages them up and sends some to me. As you know the wings are very delicate and can be brittle.
I preserve and protect them inside of resin and then add the hardware. I love how it can elevate your outfit and make it feel just a touch of whimsy.
If your headed to Old Sac come find my items located at 108 L. st. Sacramento. They are open Tuesday-Sunday.

This kitchen is about to get a facelift! If you’ve been following along let me catch you up to speed!
We’ve saved some penny’s ….about $500 to get soooo much paint, and all the things needed to repaint this kitchen.
The walls were done in a light grey called Whitestone. We also painted all the trim on the floor, windows and doors a bright white. My husband updated all the electrical sockets with new white outlets.
Today we went over to Folsom about an hour drive from us and got our Annie Sloan color called Pure. It’s the brightest white they carry. Also a clear wax to seal the cabinets.
I’m a tried and true fan of Annie Sloan paint and wax. Our cabinets were painted by me about 9 years ago and have held up so well.
Can’t wait for tomorrow as I’ll start this and see if we can squeeze in painting the ceiling white as well.

I remember years ago we had a paint store in Fairfield and her place was closing. She sold the paint line that I used all the time. She asked if I’d be interested in taking over and selling the paint.
At the time my son was 2. I couldn’t fathom the thought of going into a full time business. Especially when he needed me as full time mom.
I declined and have always thought what if…but I also know I was exactly where I needed to be.
So much in me wants to have the store, a place of community and a place where people can come to have fun and shop for their family/friends.
I realized I have that but it looks different than what I thought. I’ll choose to listen to Gods voice and trust that I’m on the path that He’s choosing. ❤️
Here’s some of my favorite pieces finished with Annie Sloan paint. The barn was massive! The paint held up so well on that.

Grabbed my paint today for my kitchen cabinets!
My husband and I had a great date night between eating in Vacaville and then heading over to Folsom at Not Too Shabby.
This store is incredible and I loved the design of it. If you’re looking to get paint or a fun gift come and check out this store.

✨Full transparency post✨
I’ve always done pretty well at vendor events. When people know the story, hear about the products and can see them all displayed they sell great. The problem with vendor events is you have to have the money up front to pay, and the time.
Well I’m trying to expand and I’ve put my items inside in old Sacramento. Now I’m in two locations. You guys it’s not going good. 😭 I’ve only sold $48.00 for the month so far for Sacramento. ( Vacaville is doing great)
I know as a small business owner I should probably not post this. But I really want this to work there and would love your opinion.
Something I’ve learned in this month is the waiting is just hard. It’s hard in the unknown of do I continue to stay?? Can it take off, especially in the slow months of summer??
I’m left in a dilemma and ask myself what should I do? I know there is always high and low months of selling. But at the booth space price, am I just throwing money away?? I have a little play on how long I’m there as I’ve saved some money.
What would you do?

Okay which fireplace do you prefer?? The top styling or the bottom?
I definitely am leaning toward the bottom with the beautiful stone work, chunky mantle and wood elements.
Let me hear your thoughts! Or if you think I’ll like something else, feel free to post the pic below! Let’s help get some fireplace dreams made 🙂
