In observance of Juneteenth, Johnson College offices will be closed on Friday, June 19, and will reopen on Monday, June 22, at 8 a.m.

Woolworth Hall is getting a summer refresh.

Work began a couple of weeks ago, and while the project is still in its early stages, the changes are becoming visible. The refresh will bring a renewed look to Woolworth Hall while continuing its long-standing role on our Scranton campus.

For now, here's a behind-the-scenes look at the work in progress. We'll save the big reveal for later this summer.

The Scranton BK5K 🏃‍♀️ returns on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Nay Aug Park.

This community race honors Bob Kierlin, founder of Fastenal Company, and supports local youth programs across Northeastern PA. In the last 4 years, the BK5K has awarded $111,661+ in grants back into our community, including support for students at Johnson College and many local youth organizations.

💙 NEW THIS YEAR: A Fun Walk for anyone who wants to participate without running the full 5K!

Every step helps local kids thrive—come out, participate, and support a great cause.
