FYI. On the development front, The Octapharma Plasma Services facility (57th & Ouray) was approved by the ZHE. The townhouses at the eastern end of Miami Road were conditionally approved--a variance hearing has to be held on a wrap-around wall.

Neighborhood Clean-up, Saturday, April 20, 8:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. Water, cookies, bags, and trash pickers will be at the corner of 64th and Miami Saturday morning. Should be quick work to pick up trash on Juniper, Miami, and 72nd St. We'll try to get 64th and Estancia as well, but we need people! Bag pick-up spots for the city are 72nd & Miami and 72nd & Juniper. Leave bags there.

EXPECT TRAFFIC IMPACTS ALONG OURAY AT ESTANCIA AND SOL DE VIDA FOR
BYPASS TEAR DOWN AND ROAD RESTORATION

Crews are continuing to break down the bypass pipes and restore all
roadways after the rehabilitation of the Westside Interceptor. The
community should expect traffic impacts along Ouray beginning on
Wednesday, November 8 through Friday, November 10. Sol de Vida will be completely closed at Ouray Road NW, so please seek an alternate route.
Regular work hours will be from 7:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
Crews may work outside of these hours if necessary.

¡OJO! As you might have noticed this morning, the intersection of 64th St. and Miami Rd. was closed in all four directions. The good news is that the Interceptor Project is about a week ahead of schedule. So the closure starts this week instead of next week. The bad news is that the closure is expected to last for THREE WEEKS. The bigs trucks will be in the area as soon as tomorrow.

Meet APD officers at the next Coffee With a Cop event, at the Donut Mart, 3301 Coors Blvd. NW, on Wednesday, October 4, from 9am to 11am.

The FCC and FEMA will conduct a test of the Emergency Alert System and Wireless Emergency Alerts on Wednesday, October 4 beginning at 12:30 MDT. Cell towers will broadcast the test for approximately 30 minutes. If the October 4 test is postponed, the back-up testing date is October 11.
