BABE CITY POPULATION 🔥🔥🔥
My heart is exploding being back in Chicago and getting to see all of the humans I’ve grown to love that sit in my chair. I’ve missed you all!! I have opening this week and a few next Tuesday at before I tie the knot with and my family trades me for a herd of livestock to bring honor to my family name. Huzzah! ⚔️❤️

Chicago has always had my heart. ♥︎
For the past year and a half I’ve been working in the suburbs, but the pull to come back to the city has been getting stronger and stronger. Chicago is where I learned this craft, where my people are, and where I want to continue building my career.
I’ve been behind the chair for over 10 years now, and I specialize in haircutting. My work is very intentional. I love creating shapes that grow out beautifully and feel effortless for the person wearing them. Hair that feels like you.
I’m also an educator with Innersense Organic Beauty, which has been a really meaningful part of continuing to grow within this industry.
At this stage in my career, I’m really hoping to find a salon where I can plant roots long term. A place that values thoughtful work, professionalism, and a supportive team environment. Somewhere that takes the craft seriously while still leading with heart.
I’ll be bringing a loyal clientele with me, and I’m excited to find the right home for both them and myself.
If you’re a salon owner or know of a space that might be a good fit, I’d love to connect.
Chicago, I’m coming home. ✨

I was sitting in my car today and started to think about one of my favorite books I’m currently rereading… There’s that moment in The Alchemist where it says that right before a dream is realized, everything you’ve learned is tested.
I’ve always loved that..
Because the moment before you break through doesn’t feel like destiny. It feels like doubt. Like pressure. Like wondering if you even have it in you to keep going.
Growth feels like that. Not radiant. Not full of joy. But tight. Pressurized. Like a cocoon pulling close around the version of you that can’t come any further.
We romanticize the breaking open.. The wings, the light, the dramatic arrival. But when you split through, it rarely feels like glory. It feels like standing somewhere new, already facing another horizon. Another stretch. New and uncomfortable. Another layer of yourself waiting to be claimed.
The goalpost moves because you are expanding. The challenges change because you have changed.
So you forget to honor the middle, the places you once longed to stand. You rush toward the next becoming and miss the quiet miracle of this one.
But the cocoons keep coming… not as punishment, but as proof.
Proof that you are not stagnant.
Proof that you are answering the call.
Proof that you are powerful enough to outgrow your own skin again and again.
So allow yourself to pause.
Look around at this terrain you once prayed for. This strength you didn’t know you could carry. This self you built in the dark. Honoring where you are won’t slow destiny. It won’t stop your progress. It won’t cancel the next becoming.
It roots you in the miracle of now.
You made it here. Not by accident. Not by luck. But because something in you refused to stay small.
And that is sacred.
You deserve to honor yourself.
Stop yourself, notice. And celebrate.
Baby me would be really stoked that we just got to spend a week in California training to educate for a hop and a skip away from my favorite place on earth Bodega Bay.
