😴 New Summer Class Alert: Yoga Nidra 😴

Had a busy weekend?

Is it one of those Mondays that's somehow the Monday-est Monday that ever Monday-ed?

We've got you covered.

Starting this summer, we're adding Yoga Nidra on Monday nights at 7:30 PM—the perfect way to ease into your week feeling calm, rested, and restored.

Yoga Nidra, often called "yogic sleep," is a guided relaxation practice where you simply get comfortable, close your eyes, and follow along. No stretching. No sweating. No complicated poses.

Just rest.

In fact, many people find that a 45-minute Yoga Nidra practice leaves them feeling as refreshed as a much longer nap—without the grogginess.

We are excited to welcome Kristin to our teaching team! She will be teaching the Slow & Gentle class on Mondays at 6pm starting tomorrow.

Kristin Bray is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) whose approach to yoga is rooted in compassion, mindfulness, and the belief that healing and growth are possible at every stage of life. Her yoga journey began in 2006, when she first discovered the transformative benefits of the practice. After experiencing personal trauma that led her away from yoga for a period of time, she found her way back to the mat in 2017 during her own recovery journey. Inspired by the profound impact yoga had on her physical, emotional, and mental well-being, she completed her 200-hour teacher training in 2023.

In addition to her RYT 200 certification, Kristen has specialized training in trauma-informed yoga, children’s yoga, pre- and postnatal yoga, and sound healing. She teaches Hatha, Yin, Restorative, beginner-friendly yoga, children’s yoga, and sound bath experiences, creating classes that are accessible, supportive, and welcoming to practitioners of all backgrounds and experience levels.

Kristen’s teaching philosophy centers on meeting students exactly where they are. She believes yoga is not about achieving perfect poses but about cultivating awareness, resilience, and self-compassion through mindful movement, breath, and presence. Students can expect a nurturing environment where they are encouraged to listen to their bodies, honor their unique journeys, and explore the connection between physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

Her work as a yoga instructor is enriched by a diverse professional background. Kristen holds a Master of Education degree and has served as both a classroom teacher and school counselor. She is currently completing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and serves as a Field Advocate for the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention. Drawing from her experience in education, mental health, and wellness, she brings a holistic and trauma-informed perspective to her teaching.

In addition to traditional studio classes, Kristen has enjoyed facilitating animal-yoga experiences in partnership with local rescue and adoption organizations, combining the healing benefits of yoga with opportunities to support animals in need and connect with the community.

Whether guiding a gentle restorative practice, introducing a beginner to yoga for the first time, leading a children’s class, facilitating an animal-yoga event, or creating a deeply relaxing sound bath experience, Kristen’s goal is to create a space where students feel safe, supported, and empowered to connect with themselves both on and off the mat.

When she is not teaching, Kristen enjoys spending time with her spouse—whom she met in elementary school—their five children, three grandchildren, and two beloved dogs, one of which is a certified therapy dog. Family, connection, service, and lifelong learning remain at the heart of both her personal life and professional practice.

Chair Yoga is an accessible practice designed to improve flexibility, balance, strength, and overall well-being—no getting up and down from the floor required!

☀️ Summer Schedule Update ☀️

Summer is officially here, and while we love the sunshine, road trips, camping weekends, family reunions, and all the adventures that come with it, it does mean a few changes around the studio.

📅 Our Wednesday 5:00 PM class will be taking a break for the summer and will return later this year.

As many of our instructors head off on well-deserved vacations, we'll be doing our very best to keep classes running as scheduled. We have an amazing team that helps cover for one another, but occasionally a class cancellation may happen.

Because... well... summer. 😎

We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we navigate vacation schedules, family time, and all the things that make Montana summers so special.

🌿 A few reminders:
✔️ Always check the schedule before heading to class.
✔️ Register ahead when possible.
✔️ Keep an eye on our social media for any updates.
