The next Planning Committee meeting for Centreville Day 2025 this fall is tonight Monday, June 9. Our Rotary Club of Centreville & Chantilly Past President Carol Robinson is the festival event coordinator and welcomes community members' participation! Our club hosts "Pets in the Park" at the main stage, as well as an exhibit booth.

The 33rd annual Centreville Day is set for Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 10am - 4pm at Centreville Historic Park – sponsored by the Friends of Historic Centreville (www.historiccentrevilleva.org).

Our club is a longstanding proud member of the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce and appreciates the benefits of networking and partnership opportunities. Several of our club members have served as chamber board members.

Our Rotary Club is proud to be the chartering partner for Cub Scout Pack 1859!

Interested in exploring Cub Scouts as an activity? Come to our Cub Scout Carnival on Wednesday, May 7th at Union Mill ES! The fun starts at 7 PM.

On Tuesday April 22, we enjoyed having Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce CEO Sheila K Dixon join us for lunch to meet our awesome club members! Our club is a longstanding member of the Dulles Chamber, which supports and has enabled us to have success with our many local community service endeavors over the past 15+ years 🤗

Earlier this week, the Rotary Club of Centreville & Chantilly invited our President and CEO, Sheila Dixon, to come speak at their meeting on the vision and activities of the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce, where she was warmly welcomed by Rotary President, Donna Smith! Sheila was truly thankful for this opportunity to come connect with a dedicated group that truly embodies "Service Above Self," partnering and supporting efforts for both local and global communities. The Rotary Club of Centreville & Chantilly is a nonprofit and community service organization that is part of District 7610! Their meetings are held at the Olive Garden in Fair Lakes on Tuesdays from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm. VA Congressman To Retire As Cancer Returns Following Treatment U.S. Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-11th), who was treated for cancer, said the disease has returned and he will not seek reelection in 2026.

At our April 15 meeting, we welcomed Aaron Bills to our club as a new ! Aaron and his family have been long-time supporters of Shelter Box, and he was aware of Rotary from that association.

He and club secretary Glennys are friends through their mutual participation in Scouting America. Our Rotary Club of Centreville & Chantilly recently took over as the chartering organization for the Cub Scout Pack 1859 and Scout Troop 577, which Aaron helps lead. Through that transition process, he discovered that Rotary's values correspond with his own. We look forward to Aaron strengthening the relationship between our two organizations!
