Can't forget Rocco Nardelli.Saw him at the '66 dream. Different Judging panel and at '66 Nats Sac was then 5th or 6th.......Nardelli was a class act and gentleman.😁😁

Thank you for inviting me to “like” your page! 😊🎶 My Dad was in a Drum corps in the 50’s, played trumpet. That was when They were sponsored by the American Legion. They were veterans from WWII and the Korean War. We used to go from town to town to watch them. (Pennsylvania)They were often in competition against a group called the Gardner Guards. Gardner was a candy company out of Tyrone PA, they had very sleek uniforms.💕🎶

Lowry AFB in Colorado had an all student volunteer Drum and Bugle Corps called the Golden Eagles. We were all at Lowry learning our Air Force jobs and also part of the corps. Many of the members were civilian Corps members from all over the USA. This pic of the drum line was taken ~ 1970 during a base ceremony. Top row left is Ben Strusky of the Connecticut Hurricanes and bottom row 3rd from left is our guru Cliff Richmond who I believe is in the buglers HOF. We traveled all over Colorado/Wyoming playing every podunk parade and rodeo...good times.
