Now making Cakesicles! The ones pictured below are chocolate cake with semi-sweet/dark chocolate coating. And chocolate cake w/pecans and chocolate chips with semi-sweet chocolate coating. The were so delicious! I can make many different designs, colors and different flavors. These are great for any occasion. I’m ready to make some for your special day!

Ok my friends - I’ve had to take a leave of absence from work for a little while.
I’ve decided to go back to baking for awhile to help out the household!
I’m going to try to just do cookies. Cookies and cakes are both laborious, but with cookies I can take breaks in between layers and drying.

1) Please keep in mind I do not get a discount at the store. I have to pay the same high prices as everyone else. I’ve always tried to keep my prices low, but I do need to make a profit!
2) I don’t want to lose a sale, but I am honest. I operate under the Cottage Bakers Law. A)Usually, the school system will not allow you to purchase from a Cottage Bakery, so check with your school system to be sure before you order. B- If I can’t do a cookie because of the design, I will let you know. I take pride in what I do and I’m not about to send out ugly cookies!
3) Please understand there will be a deposit needed!

This is a birthday cake and cookies I made for a couple this past weekend. (I've included a picture of her comments.) I am not bragging. I know it may be hard to order from someone you don't know)
The top layer of cake was a spice cake with cream cheese filling and praline pecans in between the layers, iced with a brown butter maple buttercream. The bottom layer of cake was lemon cake(subtle lemon flavor) with lemon curd filling and iced with a lemon buttercream. Some of the sugar cookies were iced with royal icing and the others were iced with the brown sugar maple buttercream. (The customer put the deer decorations on the cake).

Welcome to my page! I'm a homemaker and have been baking professionally for about 15 years. But my mama had my sister and I in the kitchen at about 9 years old!
