10 ASID MN Chapter board members joined me in Denver this week for ASID Gather Catalyst 2024!

The National conference celebrated milestones + friendships + design excellence. We learned, we were inspired, laughed and bonded together. I am so grateful for our amazing MN chapter and we are stronger and more creative together!

I’ll always remember Diamonds in Denver-The National awards 2024 celebration! Our table decor celebrated our Minnesota legacy + we danced all night + celebrated community!

Color to the Max: Life in Color Competition - Midwest Home Meet the six winners of a colorful design competition, presented by Midwest Home and ASID-MN

Summertime is for all the vibrant + exhilarating color. Reds for the amazing dahlias that grace our gardens. Bright greens for the grasses that line our parks and bikeways. And yellows for the daisies that wave “Hello!” from the fields they reside in. We pull inspo from these warm weather gems and surround our home spaces with these hints to bring us joy.

An extra day of rest means a mini spa sesh 🛀 this afternoon. And we’re not complaining about it ☺️.

We’re cabin bound for the holiday weekend! Time to hang up our work clothes and slide into our comfy cabin wear for lakeside chilling. Can’t wait to catch up on our fave book and inspo ideation + some much needed family time. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend ahead ❤️🤍💙. Cheers!

Sunshine + lake breeze + a spot on the dock! Meet you there ☀️

Pink pots and pretty petals + bright whites and warm accents make our Lake Josephine kitchen wonderfully charming. A delightful composition for a duo who love the art of cooking.

A perfect mix of color + flare + whimsy. Cozy + warm yet airy + fresh in all the right ways. A touch of mod balances out the playful details to create a guest room that is welcoming to all.

When summer brings together friends + family to gather, there is nothing better than setting the table + cutting fresh flowers from the garden 🌷

Plants make our world so very happy ☺️. We love bringing the outdoors in to fill our personal space with color + texture + life. Prickly, feathery, shining and plump, plants are the ultimate decor for any room or space🌵🪴💚.

Taking our Farmer’s Market finds and turning them into delicious eats 🍅! This is the time of year to buy all of the freshest fruits and veggies in MN. And we cannot get enough 😋. Oh how we love summer and the treats that come of this amazing season. Yum!

A perfect weekend spot to recharge!

The ultimate Friday night scene. Lake views so wonderful that we need a space designated specifically for it. Calming, soothing, and serene. The perfect ending to a full week.

Wild flowers in full color to bring out the summer vibes in this bathroom space. Happy yellow daisies bop between purple, blue and orange in a field of soothing green, creating a landscape that brings us back to our childhood days. Flower power for the win 🌼🌿.

Calming kitchen vibes. Sweetly serene and so very fresh. Cheerful and bright and zenful. We could cook in our Bridgehampton Summer House kitchen all day long and never tire of this view.

Artwork 🖼 + flowers 💐 + plants 🪴+ books 📚 are the staples to amazing room decor. Interchangeable to meet your mood, season, or trend. Sweet peonies can fill your heart with springtime love. Succulent greens might turn on your mod mood. Stacked books can create a graphical color code. And artwork might showcase your fun, adventurous side. Make these additions to your room decor your own! Have fun and let them rep your inner happiness 🥰.

The Sitting Room! One of my favorite rooms in every house. Where we can sit, be still, think + just be. Reading by sunlight, or snuggling in. We all welcome a quiet retreat. Find your special place, we’d love to hear about it!

It’s the perfect day to take the next meeting out on the porch. A breeze keeps the temps cool, which btw, is a welcome reprieve. And the sun peeks out from the puffball clouds just long enough to warm the soul. Summer is in full swing and we’re completely ready for it.

Luncheon for two today. A Happy Friday nosh and sip to get the weekend started. Quaint and easy going for lovely conversation with the one we love.

Window seats are where it’s at. Daydream your day away in a cozy nook with a good book 📚. The light filtering in will lull you into a relaxing slumber and take all the stress away.

Our poppy pink bedroom is the vibrant vision you never knew you needed 🌸🌺. Joyfully jubilant, this room welcomes all its visitors with a Happy Hello and Howdy Friend! 🙋🏼‍♀️

Day dreaming about the cabin today. Looking forward to our next trip north where the sounds of the birds and the surrounding wildlife become the soundtrack to our daily schedule of relaxation and family fun. There’s no place like the wooded lands of the great outdoors.

We’re thinking afternoon meditation sesh in this peaceful and quiet room 🧘‍♀️. A space where you can close the door and block out the hum of daily life. Find a comfortable position, close your eyes and clear your mind of all the Monday clutter. Bright yet happily calming all at the same time.

Plant Mamma Monday! These plant babies need lots of water. Since the hose is in full blast keeping all our outdoor plant babies thriving, we must not forget about the cuties inside. Plant love is a full time job 🌱🪴
But oh so worth it adding good vibes + fresh air.
