Incredible testimony from Parent Ambassador Shemya Wilson during today's Congressional hearing on the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program.

Thursday at 2:00 p.m. ET, Changent Parent Ambassador Shemya Wilson will testify before the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Work & Welfare about how evidence-based home visiting changed the course of her life and helped her build a brighter future for her son.

Through the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program and Nurse-Family Partnership, Shemya received the support, guidance, and resources she needed during pregnancy and early parenthood, helping her overcome trauma, complete her Master of Social Work degree, and become a licensed therapist, community advocate, and thriving mother.

At Changent, we champion the health and well-being of children and families through our data-driven programs, Child First and Nurse-Family Partnership. These are two of the nation's most rigorously evaluated, relationship-based programs and are partially supported through MIECHV funding.
