The place our kids picked for their wedding, Palagina, could not have been more perfect! It is a beautiful and special place…breathtaking vistas, a fabulous villa, sweet animals and great food!! I desperately want to go back.

What a beautiful day!! Congratulations Mr and Mrs Sam Williams 🥂 It’s been the most incredible celebration, my heart is bursting with joy for Elisabeth and Sam ❤️ and I have so many pictures to share (this is just the starting point 😉)…I love these moments from the ceremony!

The BIG REVEAL of the BIG pivot. A month ago, we had an incident with my mom, she’s 90, and we realized it was no longer safe for her to live independently. Take a giant step backwards…we have been in the process of retiring and converting my design studio of 30+ years into a guesthouse for our growing family. We were still far from being finished 4 weeks ago when the proverbial S___ hit the fan and my sister said “you know, this could be a perfect place for mom”. The idea was born and we kicked it in gear to make this her new home. We saved as much of her cherished possessions as possible. This is a really long story that I’m trying to keep short….it’s been a month with a lot of challenges! She was released from skilled nursing this past weekend and is officially moved in. I think she’s pleased…I think it turned out pretty darn charming. Even my husband’s tool chest that had no other place it could go has been aesthetically elevated!! At some point, I’ll have to go back and show you before pictures, but for now, honestly, I’m exhausted 😉
