Sad to Share the loss of Emmett Eary. Emmett and his wife Carolyn were chosen by their pastor in 2003 to help start then Pflugerville Caregivers. He spent hours working with a small team to assure the program got off the ground and helped seniors. Serita Lacasse states, Emmett was a gentle soul who helped all around him. His smile was real and he worked selflessly for his life for so many. I will always remember him.” Emmett viewing will be Friday the 6th at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Pf followed by funeral at 11 a.m. Thank you Emmett for sharing your giving heart to thousands of Seniors. Our love and prayers go to his wife Carolyn and Daughter Jill.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of one of Senior Access—now Drive a Senior’s—original board members, Jeff Gaddis. Jeff passed away on September 9th.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 16th at 10:00 AM.
Jeff was instrumental in guiding the successful 2011 merger of the Round Rock Caregivers and Pflugerville Caregivers. Retired Director Serita Lacasse shared:
“Jeff was one of the most positive and helpful directors. He always brought a smile and joy to each meeting. I will miss my friend and feel honored to have known him so long.”
Rest in peace, Jeff. Your kindness, vision, and joyful spirit will always remain a blessing and a cherished memory.

💛 RETIRING with a heart full of gratitude. 💛
After 23 beautiful years leading , I’m stepping into retirement. What started as a simple idea became a mission serving 1,200+ seniors a year.
From day one, I’ve been blessed by people who believed in the vision—and by all of YOU: volunteers, staff, donors, clients, board members. You made this happen. 🙌
To my team: your dedication has inspired me beyond words. To our seniors: thank you for letting me be part of your journey. And to my supporters from the very beginning—you were God-sent. ✨
Senior Access is in great hands now with Jill leading the way. I’ll forever carry these memories with me. 💐

✨ Today, I retire with a heart full of gratitude. ✨
After 23 incredible years with Senior Access, my journey comes to a close. What started as a small idea to help seniors in Pflugerville has grown into a mission serving 1,200+ seniors every year—thanks to our amazing volunteers, donors, staff, board, and clients. 💛
From the day I met my first partner at a yoga class… to the retirement community that gave us our first office… to watching my daughter play Rummikub with senior residents… this journey has been full of grace and joy.
To my dedicated staff: thank you for your compassion, commitment, and heart. You’ve inspired me every day. And to all who believed in this mission—you made these 23 years possible. 🙏
Senior Access is in great hands, and I’m excited to watch it continue to grow under Jill’s leadership.
From the bottom of my heart: Thank you. 💐
