Happy May everyone, This’ll sure put a little’Spring’ in your step… a few days ago was hiking with my sweet Kiki in Unicoi. We were on the trail starting at Anna Ruby Falls, about an hour in… and I literally almost stepped on this guy! Praise God for His protection!!
Not even 10 minutes later I heard a ‘nearby’ loud rumbling in the brush, squatted while looking down then a black mass came into focus… and swayed a bit. It emerged and casually sauntered away! Also my first encounter.
All in all a beautiful day with not so suttle reminders of our vulnerabilities. Thanks be to God for His amazing creation, abounding provisions and everlasting Mercy!!
