Precious Juggalos

Spend a little time relaxing with the Bob Ross of Juggalo figurine painting! Watch me paint. Chat with me. Chat with my friends. Hang out. Take a nap. Whatever! Just hop into the stream and leave your worries behind for a bit. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll learn. Or... Whatever!

I spent some time at the new Gathering of the Juggalos site and l've lived in the area most of my life. I've got some insights that I'd like to share with you to help improve your experience at Mother Nature's Riverfront Retreat. Cell phones will have coverage in a general sense but coverage might be spotty in lower lying areas. The crowd will also probably use a lot of the limited bandwidth. I recommend just saving your phone for emergencies and enjoying the opportunities around you. Trust me!

I didn’t get a vendor spot for this year’s Gathering of the Juggalos but I’ve still got work to do! I’ve got a few special projects and here are a couple. One of these will be part of a prize for Miss Juggalette and the other is a prize for 2 Tuff Tony’s Fishing Tournament. They’re looking pretty fresh already!

Here’s an update to Survival Tip Number 2. Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) is a serious, potentially life-threatening allergy to alpha-gal that can develop after a tick bite. Alpha-gal is a molecule found in most mammals, such as cows and pigs, but not in people. People with AGS can have an allergic reaction after eating red meat or being exposed to products containing alpha-gal. The best way to protect yourself and your family from AGS is to prevent tick bites. The Gathering of the Juggalos at Mother Nature’s Riverfront Retreat is in an area where AGS has been identified. Preventing tick bites is the best protection!

The Gathering of the Juggalos is going deep into the woods at Mother Nature's Riverfront Retreat. There will be ticks! Lots of ticks! It might seem crazy in the heat but long sleeves and pants actually help prevent ticks. Off Deeps Woods is great stuff too. Remember to check yourself for ticks at least once a day. Ticks like the warmest, dampest parts of your body.
All the spots that you don't want to have swollen and itchy little bumps. Don't be scared, just be aware!
