By merging the ONE TEST reading diagnostic with intentional Biblical Integration, our team in El Salvador is proving that Edify's core value of "Excellence and High Integrity" belongs at the heart of the classroom. These initiatives do more than drive intellectual growth; they foster a culture of academic rigor and character-building that prepares students for a life of purpose.

This school leader continues to share, "The most important change has been gaining access to new teaching methodologies and strategies that I can apply directly in my institution. This has improved how we teach and manage, and it has also allowed for better communication and understanding of institutional updates."

We consider it a joy to walk alongside school leaders, to encourage and support them with tools that help them flourish in their ministries. When school leadership and staff flourish, their students can too.✨🎓

Staff Spotlight ⭐ Meet André Tomaz Silva Pereira, our Director of Latin America Human Resources. Joining Edify in October 2024, André brings over 15 years of experience in Christian education, alongside an MBA and a background in marketing and finance. Raised as a missionary and pastor’s kid, he developed a deeply global perspective after spending most of his childhood in Romania, pursuing his higher education in the US, and living in Guatemala for several years before recently returning home to Brazil.

André’s calling to Edify was marked by a clear shift in direction. "God redirected my heart toward the mission field of education, which has become my true passion," André shares. "I am so grateful the Lord has allowed me to use my business background in such an impactful ministry." Today, he fulfills that calling by doing what he loves most: visiting our regional teams in person to build meaningful relationships and encourage our staff in their vocations.

When reflecting on a life full of cross-cultural transitions, one word stands out to André: faithfulness. "Through changes in countries and work, I have seen God lead me through many difficult circumstances, and He has always been faithful."

Outside of work, André loves music and spending his free time playing the keyboard.🎶 He enjoys sharing this gift by serving on his local church's worship team.

It's conference week at Edify! 🎉 This year's theme is Bold Faith, taking courageous action for Christ's Kingdom.

Though we're meeting across four different nations – 🇵🇦 Panama, 🇳🇬 Nigeria, 🇺🇬 Uganda, and the 🇺🇸 US – we celebrate the same mission and worship the same God. What a gift it is to be with our global team, both in person and virtually!
