Cardinal Family Eye Care celebrated our staff Christmas🎄 Party on January 12 at Valley Sports Academy in Lake Hallie.

Our staff and their significant others got to partake in some friendly competition by playing dodgeball and kickball and using the sports simulators! ⚽️We also got to fill up on some delicious food that was catered in from Hyvee☺️

Thanks so much to Dr. Vergin and our party planning committee for putting everything together! Also a big thank you for the staff at VSA and Hyvee Catering in Eau Claire for making this event possible for us! We braved the snow❄️ and had the greatest time!😄

Meet Dr. Jacob Vergin🌟

Dr. Vergin is one of the founding optometrists of Cardinal Family Eye Care. He started the practice with Dr. Beloungy in 2007.

Dr Vergin lives in the outskirts of Chippewa Falls with his wife and two daughters. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 They enjoy spending time on the lake 🚤in the summer and trying to tire out their German Shorthaired Pointer- Huckleberry. His daughters are active in swim 🏊‍♀️ , dance 💃 , cross country ,and basketball 🏀and he loves to watch how they are improving in each of their activities.

Fun Fact! Dr. Vergin and Dr. Beloungy share a birthday🥳 with each other and were born close to 10 minutes apart! 🤩

Dr. Vergin is an amazing teacher! Whether he is educating staff or patients, he knows how to explain different situations in a way that makes it more understandable for everyone. He is also very patient and will go over them until they are understood. We truly appreciate everything he does for us😁You can get scheduled to see him at either our Thorp or Chippewa location! He would enjoy helping you out!

Meet Dr. Ryan Beloungy🌟

Dr. Beloungy is one of our optometrists and founders of Cardinal Family Eye Care. He started the practice with Dr. Vergin in 2007.

Dr. B grew up in Sauk Prairie, WI. He attended college in Eau Claire (the first of his family!) and then in Chicago at Illinois College of Optometry. He currently lives in Thorp with his wife, Julie, his two daughters, Katelyn and Tarynn, and their chocolate lab, Baxter. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧🦮

He enjoys hunting, fishing, snowmobiling❄️, volunteering with the Thorp Lions Club and spending time at his family cabin🏕️in Winter, WI. His absolute favorite hobby is musky fishing. 🎣

Dr. Beloungy loves getting to know his patients on a personal level. If you can’t tell, he has a lot of hobbies that he enjoys using to connect with others! He’s very genuine and really enjoys what he does😁 You can schedule an appointment with him at either our Thorp or Chippewa office, he will be more than happy to see you!😎

Santa 🎅 asked some of our CFEC staff to sub in for his reindeer🫎this Christmas! 🎄

Meet Dr. Tori Flood🌟

Dr. Flood is one of our optometrists at Cardinal Family Eye Care. She’s been practicing with us for the last 4.5 years and we absolutely love having her on our team!

Dr. Flood lives in Chippewa Falls with her husband and her 4 daughters.👨‍👩‍👧‍👧 She enjoys spending time with her family and supporting her daughters with all that they are involved in.❤️

Dr. Flood has the bubbliest🫧 personality ever. Her contagious smile😁 and outgoing personality are definitely something that patients appreciate about her. We, without a doubt, love her fun-loving nature and it’s appreciated around the office.🤩Dr. Flood would love to see you for an appointment; contact our Chippewa office and we will get you scheduled!☺️

Meet Katarina🌟

Katarina is a technician at Cardinal Family Eye Care and has been with us since March 2023.

Katarina lives with her fiancé, Erick and their dog🐕, J***o (pronounced Yike-o) She enjoys spending time with her family, going to adventure in the Twin Cities, and trying to learn Spanish. Fun fact- Katarina spent 5 months in Krakow, Poland 🇵🇱 while in college where she met some relatives and learned about their culture!

Katarina is great fun to have around the office😄 She’s more than willing to learn a new task and offer assistance in any area that is needed. We really appreciate having her around☺️ Katarina would love to help you out! Stop in anytime🤩

Meet Rose🌟

Rose is a technician/optical assistant and has been working at Cardinal Family for the past four years but has been working in eye care for 9 years total.

Rose is married and has four kids. Rose loves and enjoys warm weather and will soon be making a change from living to Wisconsin❄️to living in Florida.☀️Although we love having her here and will be sad😢 when she leaves, we wish her the absolute best when she finally heads down there. Until then, we will enjoy all the time we have with her.😊

Rose has a great personality and is very caring. She will treat patients with the same care that she would give her family and friends. It’s definitely a quality we appreciate having at our clinics! Rose would love to work with you sometime, you can find her primarily at our Chippewa office!😎

Meet Megan🌟

Megan is a technician with us at Cardinal Family. She’s been working with us for 4 years but has been in eye care for 8 years!🤓

Megan is a mom of two👩‍👧‍👦🤩 She moved to the Chippewa area for college where she went for IT programming💻Interesting fact- Megan likes to go rock climbing🧗‍♀️but she is also afraid of heights! This is a great example of her resilience and how versatile her personality is which is very valuable especially in the workplace☺️

Megan is awesome and has a positive attitude and shows that to all of our patients. We really enjoy having her!! Megan would love to see👀 you at our Chippewa office sometime😎
