January show report:

People lining up to buy silver at 80 dollars when 60 dollars per oz silver only the dealers were buying. New dealers and seasoned dealers still had their silver under priced. Many reports of slabbed silver eagles MS69s and MS70s at 70 dollars per slab and foreign silver at way WAY way below silver scrap prices. Numismatic sales slumped. Silver Dollar Morgan's and Peace selling at least 1 dollar below scrap in raw condition. Numerous reports from vendors very happy with show sales topping 10k. Rich Snyder stating yet again, "Best. Show. Ever." 7-9am dealer hour sales were strong as usual. Reports of the busiest show ever seem to be the norm. Every show we see new faces from the public, but more in January than the past few months combined. Coin clubs present included Medina Coin Club, Western Reserve Numismatic Society and Garfield Heights Coin Club. Sold out show with "fresh meat on the market" - meaning new vendors with new material, that had a crowd of people around them. One of our regulars purchased a Coin shop, another has purchased an antique shop.

We passed out the Red Book Quarterly Greysheet and continue to give kids free coins and/or paper money at the registration desk.

Oh and by the way, we miss John Bertram!
