Did we mention we're playing Food For Folks XII tomorrow night at 12:30? Well, we are! And the best thing is, to get into this festival all you have to bring is non perishable food to donate! Seriously, donate some food and see some great bands! Our sister band Dupree's Dead Band goes on tonight in about an hour or so and will be playing 2 full sets!

Two Dead Brothers (2db) off our album "Burning Embers", debuting tonight at midnight on all major streaming platforms, is the next one up.
Mike showed up at my place back in 08 or 09 (I think) to record some songs under the name "Mikey Wills" for a Myspace page he had. I sat in my booth, hit record, and when I heard this one I was blown away! I had never heard it before and was so jealous I had nothing to do with writing it!!
I've always loved playing this one because of the jam section and the imagery of the lyrics. But when Steve joined up and added his guitar, it went above and beyond anything we had done previously.
Another artist we love dearly that's also a Pyro Music Festival regular is Sierra Marin! I've had the pleasure of running sound for her several times now and it's always a privilege!

Our first song off our album "Burning Embers", debuting tonight at midnight on all major streaming platforms, is "16th and High".
Mike wrote and made the first demo of this one in 2006 on a BR-8 that I gave him to record his ideas on. We toyed with it several times over the years until it finally found its home in POR.
The original lyric was "Little broken sister, how I'm gonna miss her". The first show we played for Joe Pirtz was a show called "Full Moon Rise". Mike spontaneously changed the lyrics (which he does quit often) to "Little full moon sister" and we never changed it back. We felt it reflected what the story of the song was about. And it relected us more as well. Of course I'm just giving my own opinion on this. But, that's how I see it.
