Wild West Murder Mystery Party Set for Adrian Teens July 23 ADRIAN — The Adrian District Library will host a Wild West Murder Mystery Party for teens on Thursday, July 23, from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will be held at the library, 143 E. Maumee St.

A notary’s purpose is to formally validate the signature of the person in front of them. This can be helpful in a variety of ways.

To some, all of that may sound like scary legal stuff!! It’s not! A notary is not required to produce these forms or give legal advice. Your role is to make sure you’ve verified the person in front of you is who they say they are and has signed the document of their own free will.

What is the benefit of being a Notary Public? You can get paid to do this! The State of Michigan allows notaries to charge a maximum amount per signature. You can also be a great resource to the community when needed.

Who can apply for this scholarship program? Anyone over the age of 18 that is a Lenawee County resident and is bilingual or a Native American Tribal member. Applicants that are registered notaries in another state may not apply.

What is covered? County and state filing fees, notary supplies and free resources to education and training.

Little Free Library restocks throughout Lenawee are one of many ways that we responsibly donate some of the books we receive through our free book pick up service.

I don't know about you, but every time I ended up with garage sale leftovers it was such a pain dragging it all back into the house to then pack up and drive to the thrift store to donate.

Lenawee Book Rescue is here to help with unwanted books, media, magazines, ephemera, puzzles, board games, video games and more!

The best part is you don't need to be home for us to do a FREE pick up. The steps are simple: box up any unwanted items, schedule a pick up and leave it on the porch the morning of. We'll handle the rest.
