I was away for 4 days for my sister in law’s baby shower, and Jonathan decided to surprise me- and work 73 hours in 4 days (including a 40 hour stretch with no sleep😵‍💫) putting up drywall and walls (also planing, edging, and routing each board) so it would be all clean and done when I got back home🥹 Luke McCutcheon helped Jonathan a TON, Tzivoni Wiebe helped a ton too, as well as deep cleaned the kitchen after all the mess, and kept the guys and dogs fed, Joe Barth let Jonathan use his truck&trailer, and helped him (along with Zeke Barth, Caleb, Trevor) plane and edge all the boards! I can’t believe it! It’s so nice to not have insulation/dust/spiderwebs constantly falling out of the ceiling and walls🙉 That was a HUGE step in working towards getting the kennel finished (which also happens to be our home right now!) And then after all that, and running on no sleep, Jonathan drove 3 hours to Dallas to pick me up from the airport🙉

‘Hi Meg, it’s Lisa and Jay Bramwell, Auggie’s parents! Our boy is two today and we wanted to share all the fun things we love about him!

He loves his toys and always has something in his mouth. Probably a Lambchop! Out of all the pups we’ve had, he’s our first that’s been good enough to free roam the house at this age. Our other two didn’t get to free roam until they were three or four. He’s not destructive at all.

He loves people and especially kids! He refuses to pass by anyone on a walk that won’t pet him. In fact, he’ll protest by laying down and refusing to get up. I’ve had to pick up Jay and Auggie in the car a few times 😂 BTW, he’s the best car riding puppy - he’s calm and loves to go for rides!

Spent most of today letting everyone take turns being inside to cool down… Poor Elly was having a little bit of stomach issues🤮 not sure what she got into🤪 But got that cleaned up, gave her a bath and she’s feeling so much better tonight… She even ate some chicken and yogurt with a little probiotics that I made special for her🥹 also cooking chicken over here for Arwen and Dorothy- picked up some plain Greek yogurt this morning after I dropped Jonathan off at the fire station- I always mix the chicken and yogurt together, and mix that with their puppy food since they usually don’t feel like eating much during pregnancy (although every dog is different when it comes to that!!) and then sent everyone outside to eat dinner, while I vacuumed the whole house and put clean sheets on our bed… we have so much golden glitter (otherwise known as dog hair🤣) over here… plenty to share✨
