Yesterday was certainly a day worth celebrating as Haley officially became a homeowner!

From the very beginning, Haley was prepared, inquisitive, and thoughtful throughout the entire process. She asked great questions, took the time to understand each step, and approached the home-buying journey with confidence and determination. It was truly a pleasure helping her find the right place to call home.

Now the fun begins as she settles in, makes the space her own, and starts creating new memories alongside her two adorable sidekicks, Sam and Billy. 🐾❤️

Haley, thank you for trusting me to be part of such an important milestone in your life. Watching your excitement on closing day was a reminder of why I love what I do. I couldn't be happier for you as you begin this exciting new chapter.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the Power of 10 Leadership Event hosted by NICC, where 10 incredible leaders each shared 10 minutes of wisdom, experiences, and lessons learned.

One of my favorite parts of events like this is being reminded that leadership comes in many forms. Whether it's leading a business, a community, a team, or simply showing up every day with integrity and purpose, the impact we have on others matters.

I especially enjoyed hearing from friends and local leaders including Julie Frommelt of Welu Inc, Anderson Sainci with the City of Dubuque, and Molly Schreiber of Challenge to Change and Mindful Minutes. Each brought unique perspectives, practical insights, and powerful reminders about the importance of service, growth, and community.

As someone who is deeply rooted in this community, I am grateful to learn from leaders who are helping make Dubuque stronger every day.
