2021 has kicked my a$s. Big time.

😓 This was one of the hardest years, emotionally and mentally, I’ve ever had.

I’m always so impatient for the next phase, particularly when the season I’m in happens to be a difficult one.

🧘But at my yoga class this week, I was reminded that we’re all going to fall down.

🐎 And while society rushes us to “get back on the horse”, what would happen if we just stayed there for a while?

🌟 When you fall down, stay there, rest there, breathe there.

💜 Give yourself time and space to think and grieve and process and recover BEFORE you get back up.

Can you trust that you WILL get back up eventually, but there’s truly no rush?

🤩As soon as I made that mental shift, and detached myself from the outcome of this recent launch, what do you know.... The sales started coming in AND I got to show up for my peeps from a place of abundance and joy. 
 
😅I struggle with taking myself and my business too seriously, and reframing all of this with a playful mindset of experimentation and making it a game, rather than the end all be all of my worthiness and value as a human being, has been such a game changer for both my mental health AND my revenue.

Whew. I needed a little Instagram break after talking for 12 hours last week during the virtual conference.

I was spent. So I took my own advice and rested. On Sunday, while my kids were at my parents, I even sat on the porch and read a book called “Do Nothing” by .

Ahhhh.
