Today was about more than feeding a dog—it was about family, stewardship, and love in action.
Kayla took the lead in preparing Koda’s homemade meal, carefully measuring ingredients, mixing healthy foods, and making sure every bite was prepared with care. While Koda waited patiently, he knew something special was coming.
At SGHG Garden, we believe that caring for those entrusted to us—whether family, friends, or our four-legged companions—is part of living out our faith every day.
Fresh ingredients. Loving hands. Happy hearts.

🌱 From Harvest to Blessing
“The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”
— Matthew 9:37 (ESV)
Every seed planted in faith carries the promise of God’s provision. What began as small seedlings in the SGHG Garden has grown into fresh vegetables, nourishing meals, and a care package shared with family. This harvest reminds us that God’s blessings are never meant to stop with us—they are meant to flow through us.
As we gather peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, greens, and herbs from the garden, we are reminded that every harvest is the result of patience, stewardship, prayer, and God’s favor. The true reward is not only what grows from the soil, but the opportunity to bless others with the abundance He provides.
Today, Aunt Gayle receives more than vegetables. She receives a reminder that she is loved, remembered, and cared for. This care package carries the fruits of the garden and the fruits of faith.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for every seed, every harvest, and every opportunity to serve others. May the work of our hands bring glory to You and nourishment to those we love. Help us remain faithful stewards of the blessings You have entrusted to us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this meal and for the loving hands that prepared it. We are grateful for Your provision, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness that sustain us each day.
Bless this food to nourish our bodies, strengthen our minds, and renew our spirits for the work You have called us to do. Thank You for the farmers, the harvest, and every resource that made this meal possible.
We especially thank You for the gift of family, for the joy of gathering around the table, and for the love shared through acts of service and care. Bless Simone for preparing this meal and for the love she pours into our home.
May our hearts remain thankful, our words be encouraging, and our lives reflect Your goodness. As we enjoy this meal together, remind us that every blessing comes from Your hand.
