Calvin Haynes Magic
My name is a Calvin Haynes and I was a professional close up magician for several years. I’m now a pastor but am restarting my hobby.
I hope to be a part of your next event!
Thank you Angie Thompson for bringing me back a second year and letting me entertain your son on his special day!
This Friday I will be at Hank and Aces Real Pit BBQ doing magic from 11-1 to kick off their two year anniversary.
Thank you Pastor Scott Archdekin and FCC Laythrop for letting me be a part of their community outreach. Loved entertaining the crowds and preaching the gospel!
Great time at Pickett Elementary school!
Thank you Pickett PTA for letting me be a part of your school carnival. I made 150 balloon dogs, hats and swords in one hour, personal best!
Thank you First Baptist Cameron for letting me be a part of your VBS party and for letting Journey Baptist Church use your decorations as well!
Here’s a classic of card magic called Twisting the Aces. Enjoy.
I normally don't post things like this but I thought this was a really cool video:

Great birthday party today!
Looking forward to doing a combined magic show and sermon next Saturday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with John Mohler.
Happy Birthday Breylon, thanks for letting me make a milk shake in your head!
Got to do a magic show at Bode Ice arena for Breylons 8th birthday!
A friend from high school was looking through our year book and found this picture. I didn’t even know this picture existed!
A Valentine’s Day trick.
Pickett Elementary 1st grade, I will see you at 3:00 PM today!
It doesn’t matter which card you pick…
Check out that sweet marketing! Now I just sit back and wait for the phone calls to come in…
Here’s a new magic trick I got for my birthday. Kari the magic car.
My mom was cleaning her house and found these old advertisements from my first magic job working every week at CiCis pizza in Grandview. I would have been 18 in these photos.
Balloon party!
P.S.A. on why you should never play 3 Card Montee!
Here’s a clip from my show at Pickett. Not sure if you can tell but he was holding two sponge balls and I “invisibly threw” a third one in his hand.
My favorite trick with 4 aces!
Business Cards are in! I guess this is official now. This is the business equivalent of mailing out wedding invitations.
Thank you for coming to my page!
Allow me to introduce myself. From ages 16-22 I worked as a professional close up magician doing everything from kids birthday parties to corporate shows.
After college God called me to ministry and I happily serve as Associate Pastor at Journey Baptist Church. I say all this to say that I am not doing magic to try and make a living or make a name for myself, this means that you are getting a professional show for an amateur rate!
Is this a mid life crisis? Maybe. Will we still have a lot of fun? Yes!
