📍Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa 🎰

During our stay at Sonesta Maho Beach Resort, Casino & Spa, we had crossover wristband access with the adults-only sister property, Sonesta Ocean Point Resort.

While our wristbands provided shared restaurant access, pool and gym access at Ocean Point was limited. Fortunately, whenever I needed to visit clients staying there, the staff was accommodating and allowed us entry.

The resort offers several dining options and because of the crossover privileges, we were also able to enjoy many of the dining experiences on the adults-only Ocean Point side, including the popular Azul Restaurant.

One of the biggest highlights is the location, the resort sits right next to the world-famous Maho Beach, where visitors gather to watch planes fly incredibly close overhead as they land. Beyond the resort, you’re within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, nightlife, casinos, ice cream shops, tattoo studios, and local beaches and minutes from the airport, making it easy to experience the island without venturing far.

Even if you never leave the property, the atmosphere gives you a true taste of St. Maarten.

One of our first icebreakers for the Mother’s Day Escape was definitely one for the books.

The challenge was simple: finish the sentence. Sounds easy, right? Well… not when you have no clue what’s coming next. 😂

We randomly passed the mic around, asked each person to say whatever came to mind, then repeated it to the next person to keep the sentence going. No prep, no warning, just pure off-the-top energy.😩😂

Unfortunately, we didn’t catch everyone on camera, but trust me when I say the laughs were nonstop, the vibes were vibing, and the energy in the room instantly shifted.

It turned out to be the perfect way to welcome everyone, loosen up, shake off any nervousness, and just enjoy being present together. Safe to say, this little challenge understood the assignment. ❣️
