This plaque means so much more than a thank you. To us it’s supporting a warrior in his dreams on his mountain bike team. This warrior doesn’t let anything bring him down. We are thankful to be able to sponsor warriors in many different ways thanks to all our supporters who believe in our mission!
Join us in following this warrior! Love his mission!

🌱 Meet one of the Hearts Behind Coos for Cancer: Madison, Secretary
We are honored to introduce the woman who helps steward the mission and integrity of Coos for Cancer—our Secretary, Madison. Here’s a little note from her heart:
Hi everyone! I’m Madison, and I serve as the secretary for Coos for Cancer.
Outside of this role, I stay pretty busy. I work full-time as a court clerk for Family Court, and am currently working toward a career in law. I’m also a mom to a very wild, very energetic 5-year-old boy who keeps me on my toes at all times, and a wife to the most supportive and generous husband, who somehow manages to keep us grounded.
My “why” for Coos for Cancer is very personal. My dad, our Founder, was diagnosed with cancer back in 2012, and walking through that experience as a family changed everything for us. Watching his strength, and the ups and downs that come with a diagnosis like that, is something I’ll never forget. Thankfully, he is now in remission, and that journey is what inspired my parents to start this amazing and inspiring organization.
For me, being part of Coos for Cancer is about turning that experience into something good. It’s about showing up for families who are going through some of the hardest moments of their lives, because we’ve been there. At the heart of it, I care about helping people, standing up for others, and making sure no one feels like they’re facing something alone. I’m so grateful to be part of this organization and to work alongside such an amazing group of people to support our community.

🌱 Meet one of the Hearts Behind Coos for Cancer: Bobbe, Co-Founder and COO
We are honored to introduce the woman who helps steward the mission and integrity of Coos for Cancer—our Co-Founder and COO, Bobbe. Here’s a little note from her heart:
Hey y’all, my name is Bobbe, and I am the Co-Founder and COO of Coos for Cancer.
My passion and drive for Coos for Cancer comes from the other side of the cancer journey. I’m the wife who watched her husband battle cancer and who still, to this day, watches him live with the lasting effects of treatment.
While our journey is currently in remission, I often find myself wondering… is it truly gone? Will it return? And what does our future look like if it does?
I share this side of our story so that others walking this same side of the cancer journey know they are not alone.
Coos for Cancer was dreamed up by my husband, James, and was brought to life not only to spread awareness through our passion for agriculture, but to support those impacted by cancer in a way that hasn’t been done before.
In my free time, I love living in the moment with family and friends while making the most of every day we’re blessed with.
