Just checked and what had looked like an insurmountable lead yesterday has shrunk to just 50 votes.

Let’s get the Peregrine faithful out there. It certainly seems that the Forest Hills Northern Huskies are all out there voting for Allison Cornell.

Wow what a great year!
Thanks everyone for the great virtual banquet last night as we celebrated a great season. Throughout this xc season we were blessed with parents and team members that were excited to contribute and had a wonderful competitive attitude. There were almost a 100 people online last night!! Looking forward to a great track season ahead.

If you can make sure to attend Coach Kaylee's Gate Analysis session today at 4 at John Ball Park. Practice today is at the normal at 5:00 so those that go to the session can start from the same location. Should be a fun day for a run...not to hot or to cold.

Summer Cross Country Practice
We will meet every Monday at John Ball and Thursdays back at Riverside. Both starting times will be at 5:00. Mondays will be hill workouts and Thursdays will be tempo runs.

At John Ball, we meet in the parking lot on the corner of John Ball and Park and at Riverside we meet in the parking lot in the middle of the park at Monroe and Guild.

Warm up: 1 mile in and outs (100M sprint; 100M walk) each lap faster; last lap 200M sprint
STRETCHES
Drills
2 X 300 Meter: 70% on 200M; 80% last 100M/ rest 15 seconds
2 X 100 Meter: 75%; rest 30 seconds
4 X 40 Meter: Quick; rest 20 seconds

For Sprinters Tomorrow please do this workout.
Warm up: 5-minute easy jog
Run: 30-second speed interval (start with a fast, but not sprinting, pace for the first two or three times, then sprint full-out for the remaining intervals)
Recover: 1 minute at easy pace
Repeat the run/recover cycle for a total of 20 minutes.
Cool down: 5-minute easy jog

Hey just a reminder to the runners. Remember, that for every practice to attend you get one entry into the raffle for the end of practice season prize! So for example, if you just attend three practices, you get three entries. If you attend practices you’ll get 20 entries! Also, don’t forget breakfast club after practices on Saturdays. We can also do carpooling too.
