Core Responsibilities
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, check requests, and vendor payments; manage incoming payments.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: Reconcile bank accounts, credit card reconciliation, and general reporting
• Data Entry & Accuracy: Maintain precise financial records in accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Compliance & Support: Assist with month-end/year-end closing, annual audits, and tax preparations.
• Communication: Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple projects
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word and other Office applications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of AIA billings documentation
• Sage 100 or similar construction software preferred
• Project accounting experience is desired
• Minimum of 3-year recent experience in accounting or a similar role within the construction industry

Update: Union Ambulance

JDS Masonry has been working hard to get exterior masonry completed. SMCI is almost complete with the standing seam metal roof and on the inside, Meyer Construction is almost complete with drywall. Painting is to begin next week.

We had the amazing opportunity today for our Carpenters to work with the Rockwood Summit High School ‘Geometry In Construction’ classes. The students helped us build the columns for the rebuild of the Batting Pavilion that was destroyed during a bad wind storm.

It was such a unique experience for us and we feel privileged to be able to give back to the community today and give these students a hands on experience.

Hopefully, we will see some of these kids working alongside us in the industry soon.

Thank you Rockwood School District and Rockwood Summit High School for allowing us to take part in teaching these students.

Things are happening at Union Ambulance!

We have the sub-ceilings in, HVAC installed, fire suppression is currently being installed along with the standing seam metal roof and metal framing. It is definitely coming together.
