California has officially banned cat declawing! 🙌

Thanks to the leadership of Assemblymember Alex Lee , AB 867 passed the Legislature and was signed by Governor Gavin Newsom — making California the latest state to enact this common-sense, humane law.

Find your new best friend at Tractor Supply in Lakeport this Saturday, 7/26, and next Saturday, 8/2, from 9:30-2, with Anderson Valley Rescue's adorable, adoptable kittens. Every kitten is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, awaiting their forever home.
This sweet girl will be there tomorrow.. and more kittens next Saturday! 🐾

‼️🚨 Rachel, who is a special needs kitten, and has already been through a lot in her short life, went missing from her foster home on Nicholas Way in Lower Lake on Halloween. There is a reward being offered for her safe return. Please help us find her. Her foster has checked with her closest neighbors and they are keeping an eye out. We’re hoping someone has found her. She’s a little over 3 months old and a little over 3 pounds. Please share far & wide! 🚨‼️

This little guy is indeed *lucky*… he was heard crying in a burned out home in Clearlake last month, after the fire that devastated the area. An animal-loving neighbor thankfully rescued him. He is now available for adoption through Anderson Valley Rescue. He has been neutered & is vaccinated & microchipped. About 4 months old.
