The Utilitarian is a solid walnut table with a stained concrete inlay. The stools are solid walnut as well. I was blessed enough to have worked this project from begining to end. It is hard to describe the bond that I have with these pieces, in that I was there when the tree fell and because of the talents that God has given me, I was able to produce what you see in the pictures in this album.

These pieces were brought to me for re-finishing, updating or just to add my personal touch & I thought I would share....

This "Pie Safe" is finished & now available for sale at "Earth Mamas" in Fayetteville.

*Distressed Pie Safe* I believe that this piece was first built in the late 1800's or early 1900's. The piece was in pretty bad shape when I received it. However, it is now structurally sound. I gave it a wonderful distressed look and installed fresh chicken wire to achieve that old pie safe look that seems to be a growing trend.
