Before I go to bed, let me brag on my amazing son real quick. 💁🏾♀️
When I got off work, he asked me if I felt like braiding his hair…
Me: You need a haircut 1st.
Him: Can’t you cut it?
Me: You really gone let me cut your hair?
Him: Yeah. I trust you. I need you to wash it, too.
And let me tell yall… for my 1st real haircut, I think I did pretty good. — And it’s all because my son had enough faith in me to motivate me to step out of my comfort zone. I’ve been wanting to learn how to cut hair for a long time, but I never do it because I didn’t think I could get it right. 😮💨 Shame on me for doubting myself. A few practice cuts and I’ll be in the game. 😏
My kids truly are my motivations. ❤️
