Did you know cattle provide far more than just food (and I do LOVE a good steak). Nearly every part of the animal is utilized to create hundreds of everyday products. From meat and dairy to cosmetics and industrial materials, a single cow supports a vast array of industries.
Below is a detailed breakdown of items derived from cattle includes:

Food and Dairy
Beef Steaks, ground beef, roasts, brisket, ribs , etc.
Offal & Organs: Liver, tongue, cheek, heart, and oxtail.
Dairy: Milk, butter, cheese, cream, and yogurt.

Health and Medicine
Medications: Insulin (from the pancreas), blood thinners like heparin (lungs), and estrogen (adrenal glands).
Prosthetics and Implants: Heart valves used in human surgeries, as well as bone grafts.
Supplements: Collagen, glucosamine (cartilage), and gelatin for pill capsules.

Beef & Pork are completed restocked at Hometown Market, LLC in Troup on 110 right next to Bobby’s just in time to pick up a meal for the weekend or your weekly family meals.
